Job Summary
Senior Full Stack AI Engineer in Denver, CO (hybrid Tue/Wed/Thu in office) reporting to CEO. Two senior IC roles focused on building Ombuddy's agentic AI platform, including production-grade full-stack development (Python backend, Node.js services, React frontend), LLM integration (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google), RAG/CAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases (LlamaIndex, Qdrant), and self-service infrastructure. Responsibilities include production ownership end-to-end, architectural decision-making with CEO, feature delivery across tech stack, production operations, code reviews, and mentorship within a small senior team. Must-haves include 6+ years of experience, strong Python, TypeScript/React skills, hands-on LLM integration, and experience operating in a small team with in-person Denver presence Tue-Thu. Nice-to-haves include experience with LangChain/LangGraph, evaluation pipelines for LLMs, and open-source AI tooling contributions.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
- Deep Python fluency
- JavaScript / TypeScript / React competence
- Hands-on production experience integrating LLMs into product (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google)
- Knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases
- Fluency with Claude Code or similar AI-augmented development workflows
- Ability to design architecture and ship implementations independently
- Willingness to be in-office Tuesday through Thursday in Denver
