Senior Frontier Agents Engineer

Senior Frontier Agents Engineer role focused on serving as the technical bridge between Scale AI's platform and enterprise customers. Responsibilities include partnering with clients to understand infrastructure and data pipelines, designing and implementing custom integrations, building robust data connectors and ETL processes, deploying AI models and agents within security/compliance boundaries, developing production-grade AI agents across domains, architecting multi-agent systems, implementing evaluation frameworks, and performing prompt engineering and optimization (including RAG) to meet customer objectives. The role also entails technical leadership, collaboration with data scientists and software developers, providing training to customer teams, documenting architectures and best practices, debugging across the stack, prototyping solutions, and staying current with AI/ML research. Required qualifications emphasize software engineering experience, Python for ML/AI workflows, cloud experience, problem-solving, and strong communication; preferred qualifications highlight agent development, LLM knowledge, vector databases, open-source contributions, containerization, IaC tools, security/compliance, and customer enablement.
