Job Summary
Senior frontend developers at Sopra Steria will work with modern web technologies to build and enhance web solutions, applying AI in development processes and end-user solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers across public and private sectors, using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular, and Next.js, and exploring AI-enabled frontend capabilities. Strong Norwegian language skills (minimum B2) and a proactive, collaborative mindset are valued; opportunities include working across various projects, with potential involvement in UX, design-driven processes, and integration with backend services. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in modern web solutions development with JavaScript, TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular and Next.js
- Interest in AI and curiosity about how AI can be used in frontend
- Norwegian language skills at B2 level or higher
- Relevant higher education
- Experience with UX, visual design, service design (preferred)
- Fullstack development and integration with backend services (preferred)
- Design-driven processes and cross-functional teamwork (preferred)
- Experience with publishing solutions, preferably Sanity (preferred)
- Some backend experience with Java, .Net, Backend For Frontend (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
