Job Summary
Senior Frontend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications across new and existing product lines for WDTech. You will architect and evolve our frontend stack using Vue.js (Vue 3), Vuex, and Vite, with applications deployed in AWS (S3 and CloudFront). You will translate complex business and data requirements into intuitive, data-rich user interfaces in collaboration with Product Owners, Designers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists, delivering responsive, mobile-first applications that surface actionable insights from large datasets. Responsibilities include full software development lifecycle, performance optimization, security enhancements, and contributing to engineering standards. Requires 6+ years of web development experience, strong Vue.js expertise, AWS deployment experience, Mapbox integration, and a track record of delivering high-quality frontend solutions in a real estate/financial services context. The role offers a base salary of $140,000-$150,000 with discretionary bonus, and is remote within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional web application development experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong experience with Vue.js (Vue 3), modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience deploying client-facing applications in AWS environments (S3, CloudFront)
- Experience in building responsive, mobile-first applications
- Experience with mapping/geospatial libraries (Mapbox)
- Ability to translate complex business and data requirements into intuitive, data-rich user interfaces
- Ability to design and implement Progressive Web App (PWA) functionality
- Knowledge of frontend security best practices
- Understanding of SSR and client-side hydration
- Experience with testing methodologies across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels
- Agile mindset and ability to work independently
- Strong ownership mindset and collaborative skills
