Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Malaysia)

Job Summary
Develop and enhance user-centric web-based cybersecurity software products using modern frontend technologies, designing scalable UI components and optimizing applications for speed, performance, and accessibility. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot UI/UX issues, and refactor code to improve maintainability while collaborating with colleagues to define, design, and ship new features. Mentor junior developers and advocate best practices in frontend development. Requires three to seven years of experience with Vue.js, Grid.JS, Pinia, and Figma, with prior cybersecurity experience a plus. Must be a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Between three (minimum) to seven years of professional experience in frontend software development
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js + Vite, and JavaScript libraries such as Grid.JS
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including ES6+ features
- Experience with state management libraries (Pinia) and component-based architecture
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating frontend applications with backend services
- Knowledge of frontend build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite)
- Experience with UX design software such as Figma or similar tool
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be a Malaysian citizen or Malaysian Permanent Resident
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in cybersecurity is a plus
