Senior Frontend/Full stack Engineer

Job Summary
Founding-team Senior Frontend/Full stack Engineer to architect and build core platform components for a fintech product. You will work closely with the CEO and CTO, own significant parts of the technology and architecture, and help shape product, culture, and company. The role requires building scalable, distributed backend systems and frontend with React and TypeScript, collaborating across the engineering organization, and contributing to technical specifications, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or the equivalent experience
- 5+ years of work experience building scalable, distributed backend systems
- Experience with React and NodeJS
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with Java a plus
- Solid coding practices including writing technical specifications, peer code review, and testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Experience with Agile development
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-aware, positive attitude and empathy
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation concepts
- Passionate about building products and innovating in fintech
