Job Summary
Own SarvaGram's component library and design system, defining React architecture, design tokens, and contribution standards for all customer-facing and internal interfaces. Implement performance-first engineering with lazy loading and offline-first patterns for low-bandwidth environments, while using Claude Design as the primary tool for UI generation and iteration. Build Storybook documentation, maintain AppSmith tooling for self-service dashboards, and lead the Frontend Guild to mentor engineers on accessibility and AI-assisted workflows. Establish cross-squad authority over frontend standards and architecture decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years in frontend engineering with ownership of a design system or component library in production
- Has built UI for mobile-first, low-bandwidth environments
- Has made design decisions in the absence of a dedicated designer
- Active AI tool user
- React (hooks / context / performance) & TypeScript
- CSS / Tailwind / CSS-in-JS & Design tokens / theming
- Web performance optimisation
- Storybook & Jest / Testing Library
- Component library architecture & Design token systems
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) & Responsive / mobile-first design
- Figma (reading / annotating & Cross-browser / cross-device testing)
- Claude Design for UI generation & Cursor for frontend development
- AI-assisted component generation & AI design system tooling
- AI-native design workflow
