Job Summary
Develop new features in the core web application, collaborating with Backend, Product, and Design teams. Translate design mocks into accessible interfaces and shape the GraphQL layer by pruning and managing the schema. Enhance and optimize the OSS design system with a focus on accessibility while spearheading refactor efforts to maintain a clean, scalable codebase. Uphold a behavior-driven and security-focused development culture. Requires strong React, JavaScript, and TypeScript skills, plus knowledge of GraphQL, web security practices, and AWS serverless technologies. Experience working asynchronously in an Agile, remote environment across multiple time zones is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Strong React and Javascript development & debugging skills
- Strong understanding of design/architectural patterns and core web technology
- Experience working with Typescript
- Familiarity with GraphQL in either client or server-side
- Knowledge of the latest web security practices
- Ability to work with multiple different teams & people
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to contribute throughout our different tech stack layers
- Design and other relevant experience and expertise, with an eye for detail & UI/UX consistency
- Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies
- Experience working in an Agile & Remote environment
- Experience working asynchronously with people from multiple time zones
