Job Summary
Develop front end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular while writing clean, maintainable code. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of components to ensure seamless functionality, and participate in code reviews to improve quality. Stay current with industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance user experience. Collaborate with the development team to define technical requirements and project timelines, adhering to an agile workflow and SCRUM ceremonies. Manage CI/CD processes through Azure pipelines. Work remotely or in-office within a collaborative environment supporting global wholesale banking clients.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of industry experience in Frontend development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of HTML
- Strong knowledge of CSS
- Experience writing unit tests
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte)
- Solid understanding of the core principles of the chosen JavaScript framework
- Experience with front end build tools (e.g. Webpack and Rollup)
- English (advanced)
Desired Qualifications
- Working experience with TypeScript
- Familiar with Web Components, Custom Elements and Shadow DOM
- Write functional tests by using Playwright and Cucumber.js
- Basic understanding of Accessibility
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
