Senior Front End Software Development Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct front end development within a stream of work alongside 1-2 other engineers and 4-6 backend engineers, collaborating on architectural decisions, infrastructure, and design patterns. Discuss system and software design reasoning with product teams to unpack customer needs and deliver high-quality solutions that are a joy to maintain. Engage in new technical challenges and contribute to architectural discussions while participating in a self-organizing, flat culture where developers collectively make technical decisions. Work flexibly with three days a week remote and two days in the CBD office, supported by a $1,000 annual professional development budget.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building a large-scale app in one or more component-based JavaScript libraries, such as Vue.js or React.
- Comfortable working with modern browser standards (HTML5/CSS3) and APIs.
- Familiarity with tooling, infrastructure and operations in the current front end ecosystem.
- Experience with modern frontend testing techniques, including integration testing and end-to-end browser testing.
- Transparent, honest and blameless communication.
