Job Summary
Collaborate with back-end teams, QA, and Operations to specify, design, and build new features across client applications. Create clean, functional, and extensible cross-browser code while partnering with the design team to ensure seamless user experiences. Work within an agile environment to research and adapt new technologies, defining technical requirements with the Product team. Architect, build, iterate, and manage applications using Angular JS, HTML5, and CSS3, maintaining automated test environments with tools like QUnit and Selenium. Deliver real-time messaging solutions using websockets to support smarter financial regulatory risk and compliance software.
Required Qualifications
- A strong degree from a quality university in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or other numerate subject
- An interest in and willingness to learn about the finance industry
- A passion for coding, you will have coded for fun in your own time
- 2 plus years of strong knowledge on application development using Angular JS, HTML5, CSS3
- Understanding of the full Angular JS development and runtime cycles
- Experience with websockets and real-time messaging
- Strong OOPS concepts and desire to learn new frameworks
- Ability to architect, build, iterate and manage applications
- Aptitude to write and maintain an automated test environment. Used tools like QUnit, Jasmine and Phantom.JS and and integration testing tools like Selenium, Spock or Cucumber
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Node.js, Backbone.js and / or Java
- A financial background
