Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable front-end features using modern web frameworks with minimal oversight. Actively participate in analysis and design phases, proactively identifying codebase improvements, ensuring system health through refactoring, and setting technical standards. Engage in pair programming, structured code reviews, and constructive feedback to maintain high-quality output. Work independently on moderately complex projects while acting as the go-to technical problem-solver for the team. Report directly to the Front-End Principal Software Engineer. This role focuses on building the next generation enterprise Dashboard 4.0 for PriceCast Fuel, an AI-first solution for retail pricing analytics.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of practical experience in front-end software development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Extensive technical expertise developing enterprise SaaS solutions and user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript and one or more of the top 3 frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Experience working with full stack meta-frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt etc
- Experience working with REST, GraphQL or similar
- Strong knowledge of writing robust automated front-end tests and experience working with frameworks such as Vitest, Playwright or similar
- The ability to systematically analyze problems, independently make informed technical decisions, and contribute to architectural discussions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and integrating those deep into the application
- Prior experience working in a Scrum-inspired agile environment using tools like JIRA and IntelliJ and source control (Git)
