Job Summary
Senior FPGA Engineer to architect and implement new FPGA applications for trading teams, encompassing synthesis/place & route, static timing analysis, documentation, and lab debugging. Candidate will liaise with software and other design teams and evaluate FPGA hardware technologies while delivering low-latency/high-throughput FPGA solutions. Requires strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, FPGA design flow experience, and knowledge of XILINX or ALTERA toolchains, plus exposure to SOC architectures and TCP/IP; 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering. Locations include Chicago, NYC, or London with in-person collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of FPGA/Hardware Engineering experience
- Strong RTL/Verilog/SystemVerilog skills
- Experience with FPGA design flow (synthesis, place & route, static timing analysis)
- Experience with XILINX or ALTERA FPGA design flows
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack
- Experience with SOC architectures, memory subsystems, and interconnects
- Ability to lead FPGA-based projects from requirements to production
- Excellent lab debugging and characterization skills
