Job Summary
Senior FPGA Design Engineer responsible for translating high-level requirements into detailed RTL specifications and implementing RTL logic (Verilog/SystemVerilog), performing block-level simulation, FPGA synthesis, backend and timing closure, and interfacing with verification, design, hardware and support teams. Role includes lab bring-up, product integration and support, and providing technical customer support through complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant FPGA design experience
- Experience with high-speed FPGA Design Flow using Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Experience with Xilinx Vivado and recent Xilinx device families or Intel Quartus and Intel Agilex device family in complex high-speed designs
- Experience with complex asynchronous clock boundaries and high-speed serial interfaces
- Experience in a lab environment, troubleshooting issues up to the system level
- Experience with Ethernet, SONET, PCIe, SPI, I2C, USB, AMBA, GPIO, SRIO, DDR/SDRAM/DMA, 4G, LTE, 5G, O-RAN, 3GPP
- Test verification and scripting experience a plus
- Track record as self-starter, team player and leader
- Strong scripting skills
- Excellent ability to work in a team
- Software background would be an asset
