Job Summary
Develop and maintain driver-based financial models to support business decisions, scenario planning, and long-range strategic planning. Own the budgeting and forecasting process for headcount expenses while overseeing the design and administration of healthcare benefits, ancillary benefits, 401k plans, and perks. Manage bi-annual compensation planning cycles and evolve job architecture and commensurate compensation programs including equity incentive plans and bonus structures. This role reports to the Director, FP&A and requires a candidate with 6-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or startup FP&A. Garner is headquartered in NYC with remote work options and occasional travel to HQ.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Claude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and build scalable reporting infrastructure
- Intellectual curiosity and a structured, problem-solving approach to breaking down complex challenges
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take ownership
- Comfortable with remote work
- Occasional travel to HQ
