Job Summary
Senior FP&A Manager responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across corporate functions. Drives the annual and long-range financial plans, prepares comprehensive monthly corporate financial reports, performs in-depth financial analysis for key initiatives, supports quarterly earnings calls and board meetings, develops and refines financial models, and mentors a team of financial analysts. Requires deep expertise in government contracting (FAR/CAS), proficiency with Costpoint, Oracle/Hyperion, COGNOS, and SmartView, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication to partner with senior executives on strategic financial decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in Corporate Finance or related financial role, with strong government services contracting background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Deep understanding of FAR and CAS
- Advanced proficiency with Costpoint, Oracle/Hyperion Financial, COGNOS, and SmartView
- Excel mastery with complex functions, linked workbooks, multi-worksheet models, lookups, and pivot tables
- Strong financial statement knowledge, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of financial analysts
- Experience supporting senior executives with reporting for earnings calls and board meetings
- Ability to build and refine financial models for planning and execution
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in a corporate finance environment with process improvement and leadership focus
- Ability to manage annual and long-range planning processes
- Strong communication skills for executive-level reporting
