Senior FP&A Cost Analyst

Job Summary
Provide key decision support and business insight to Operations and executive leadership teams. Optimize financial reporting processes by generating monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements, reforecasts, and variance analytics. Oversee plant financial operations, lead business planning, assist with expense budgeting, calculate burden rates, and adjust allocations across manufacturing sites. Proactively drive investigative analysis to identify cost savings opportunities, improve manufacturing processes, and increase profitability. Lead economic evaluations of capital projects and participate in ad hoc reporting as required. This on-site role in Texas City, Texas includes two days of remote work weekly. The position requires a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting with 7-10 years of experience in cost accounting or FP&A within a complex multi-plant environment.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
- 7-10 years of progressive finance experience
- experience in Cost Accounting, FP&A or Business Analysis
- emphasis in Manufacturing Operations

- Strong knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and cost accounting
- Strong analytical skills

- High proficiency in MS Excel
- basic knowledge of SAP, Microsoft PowerBI or similar ERP, analytical query applications

Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
- Experience with SAP or S4HANA and/or Qliktech
