Job Summary
Senior FP&A Control & Automation Analyst responsible for building the digital infrastructure to automate month-end reporting, consolidating financial logic, and reducing manual data processing. Drive process engineering and automation of the month-end cycle, including accruals, revenue-share calculations, cost reconciliations, and reporting. Implement workflow orchestration using tools like Power Automate, Python, Power BI, or Abacum to connect ERP, Jira, and reporting layers; embed financial logic and governance into systems; develop real-time variance diagnostics and automated audit agents; support and manage month-end close activities with a drive toward further automation. Serve as the primary technical contact for external auditors and the Global Controller; define data contracts between Accounting and FP&A; strengthen SOX controls and IFRS knowledge. About you: data literacy with SQL, automation mindset with n8n/Python, experience with modern FP&A platforms and ERP environments, advanced Excel for prototyping, and a systems-thinking approach. Minimum monthly salary is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement; the posting notes potential overqualification consideration depending on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Control, FP&A, or Finance Operations
- Data literacy with SQL (Redshift/BigQuery) or ability to learn technical data structures quickly
- Ability to pull and join data and build visualizations in Power BI without a ticket
- Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Python, or similar)
- Experience with FP&A platforms (Abacum, Pigment, Anaplan) and ERP environments
- Advanced Excel proficiency for prototyping logic
