Job Summary
Execute mechanical construction projects including installation, change-out, and upgrade of all types of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, components, and assemblies. Manage hydronic, chilled water, DX, forced air, heat pump, VAV, constant volume, exhaust, heat recovery, and sheet metal ducting systems. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers while operating hand and powered tools safely on ladders, elevated platforms, boom lifts, and scaffolding. Obtain Technician License within one year of hire. Work 7:00 am-3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime, weeknights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of managing HVAC Construction Installations
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all customers, vendors and co-workers
- Must know and understand all state and local codes (must be able to obtain Technician License within one year of hire)
- Must be able to operate hand tools and powered tools safely
- Must be able to work on ladders, elevated platforms, boom lifts, and scaffolding
- Must have valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- CFC Certification Type I
- Experience completing proper start- ups
- Experience trouble shooting electrical and refrigeration problems
- EPA Certified
- NATE Certified
