Job Summary
Coordinate programmatic and acquisition support for the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Japan Program, facilitating meetings, drafting briefing materials, and managing Foreign Visit Requests and clearance systems. Oversee internal and external teams to finalize tasks within schedule while developing tracking spreadsheets and analyzing program impacts from schedule changes. Assist in coordinating document approvals for Foreign Military Sale partners and allies, ensuring action items and official questions are addressed effectively.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 10+ years of experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Excellent analytical skills to effectively review information
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Effective oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to understand processes, anticipate next steps, and communicate them effectively
- Some Aegis Combat System or Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System background
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working directly with foreign military partners on FMS programs
- Experience with the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Weapon System and the SM-3 missile
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Experience with proposal development and submission for government contracts
- Advanced knowledge of acquisition regulations and procedures
