Job Summary

The Senior Food Scientist will be a resident expert in sauce, dips, and syrups, using scientific principles to develop and improve products within a lab environment. This role involves leading complex projects, mentoring junior team members, and supporting sales efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, or food chemistry
  • At least 5 years of experience developing CPG products
  • Strong understanding of principles of food science and ingredient functionality
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in food science, food technology, or food chemistry
  • Project management experience
  • Working knowledge of stage gate, costing, and typical R&D workflows
