Job Summary
The Senior Food Scientist will be a resident expert in sauce, dips, and syrups, using scientific principles to develop and improve products within a lab environment. This role involves leading complex projects, mentoring junior team members, and supporting sales efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, or food chemistry
- At least 5 years of experience developing CPG products
- Strong understanding of principles of food science and ingredient functionality
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
- Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in food science, food technology, or food chemistry
- Project management experience
- Working knowledge of stage gate, costing, and typical R&D workflows
