Job Summary
Senior Food Scientist responsible for hands-on leadership in developing, improving, and commercializing plant-based protein and dairy-free cheese products from bench to production scale. Drives formulation & product development, design of plant trials, cost-saving initiatives, and quality improvements; collaborates with suppliers, CO-MAN partners, operations, QA, and marketing; documents processes and regulatory labeling, maintains GMP/HACCP compliance, and supports shelf-life studies and sensory programs. Requires experience in translating prototypes to pilot and production scale, strong project management, and a track record of successful product development in manufacturing/CPG environments; experience with plant-based or alternative protein/dairy products is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7-8+ years of food product development experience; or
- Master's degree and 5+ years of food product development experience; or
- Ph.D. in a related field and 2-3+ years of industry product development experience
