Job Summary
Senior CSFP Food Program Intake Representative assists in administering CSFP caseload management and food kit distributions, including on-site greeting and eligibility verification, application assistance, annual recertification, monthly issuance of food kits, verification of distributions, distribution of nutrition materials, and follow-up with clients. Responsibilities include on-site inventory reporting, reconciling box distributions, coordinating daily distributions with the CSFP operations team, providing verification of receipt and distribution of CSFP food kits, maintaining positive relationships with senior clients and site liaisons, supporting dietitian/nutrition-related outreach, and participating in initiatives to increase Senior Food Program participation in Ventura County. Requires High School diploma or equivalent; bilingual English/Spanish; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills; flexible Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturdays; travel as needed; valid driver’s license; commitment to Food Share’s mission; compliance with Food Safety Standards; physical ability to perform labor including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally; office and outdoor work environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Flexible schedule Monday – Friday with some Saturdays
- Travel off site as needed
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record

- Must be able to perform physical labor (standing/walking/moving for long periods)
- Must be able to Lift and Carry product and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally

- Must be able to access and navigate facilities (including stairs)
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions
