Job Summary
Lead the design, integration, and operation of satellite flight systems for LEO and MEO missions while developing automated operations and mission workflows. Define space and ground segment architecture, collaborate with flight software teams, and maintain telemetry management strategies. Create system models and simulation tools using MATLAB, AGI STK, and Python to validate mission performance. Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Full-time role with immediate start; on-site preferred with hybrid/remote options requiring one week monthly in Montreal. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain or hold Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

- Candidates working remotely or in a hybrid capacity must be willing to travel and work on-site in Montreal for at least one week per month.
- Must be willing to work on-site at least one week per month.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience supporting LEO and/or MEO satellite systems.
- Experience with automated satellite operations, system design, and IoT technologies.
- Space and ground segment design, specification, and integration.
- Flight software and its role in satellite operations.
- Satellite database operations.
- Telemetry structures and operational concepts.
- Experience creating or utilizing models and simulation software.
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
- Working knowledge of MATLAB.
- Experience using AGI Systems Tool Kit (STK).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading complex satellite systems engineering or flight operations initiatives.
- Experience supporting end-to-end satellite mission planning and operations.
- Familiarity with commercial or government aerospace and space programs.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and technical mentoring skills.
