Job Summary
Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle chassis, specialized back-end tank systems, tractors, forklifts, and small engines. Maintain parts inventory, document all repairs in an electronic maintenance system, and execute preventative maintenance programs. Arrange and follow up on outsourced vendor maintenance while managing the maintenance budget. Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field as needed. Requires ASE Certification or equivalent automotive technology program completion, five years of automotive mechanic experience, and a valid driver's license. Located in Lewisville, Texas, with a salary range of $45,818 to $76,364. TruGreen is the nation's largest lawn and landscape services provider.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5 years automotive mechanic experience
- ASE Certification
- successful completion of an Automotive Technology Program from a certified school
- valid drivers license
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate a vehicle
