Job Summary
Conduct aircraft airworthiness reviews to issue or recommend Airworthiness Review Certificates, applying independent judgement to confirm compliance with UK CAA and organisational requirements. Plan and deliver audits across engineering, maintenance, suppliers, and operational locations, while assessing maintenance organisations, suppliers, and subcontractors. Produce clear reports to support regulatory inspections and maintain oversight of compliance systems, audit data, and risk reporting. Identify trends and escalate key risks to senior stakeholders, lead engineer authorisation processes, and provide regulatory guidance on defect resolution. Mentor team members and deputise for the Compliance Monitoring Manager when required.
Required Qualifications
- UK CAA Part 66 Licence or equivalent aeronautical qualification
- significant CAMO experience
- Approval as an ARC Signatory
- ability to meet approval requirements
- Strong experience in continuing airworthiness within a commercial aviation environment
- Background in compliance monitoring, quality assurance, or safety management
- Proven audit experience
- strong report writing skills
- Deep understanding of UK CAA and military regulatory frameworks
