Job Summary
Senior Fixed Income IT FO Support Analyst to join the FICC Front Office IT team in New York City. Provide daily operational support for fixed income trading desks (STP, pricing and risk queries, market data feeds, start-of-day and intraday processes), collaborate with traders and IT to implement short-term solutions and long-term enhancements, and drive process improvements for front office systems. Act as the primary bridge between trading desks, Quant/STRATS, and IT functions on production issues. Leverage knowledge of pricing models and Greeks for Rates and FX products, and utilize Murex modules (Etradepad, Livebook, Simulation, RTBS, Market Risk Box, Datamart) with consideration for Calypso/Summit/Orchestrade. Masters in Quantitative Finance or similar fields preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Masters in Quantitative Finance or similar fields
- Solid knowledge of pricing models and Greeks for Rates and FX Products
- Proven ability to multitask and troubleshoot complex issues in a high-pressure trading environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with traders, Quant/STRATS and IT teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to propose and implement effective solutions to technical challenges
- Strong organization skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong expertise in Murex modules - Etradepad, Livebook, Simulation, RTBS, Market Risk Box and Datamart is preferred but similar expertise in other Trading and Risk management systems like Calypso, Summit or Orchestrade will be considered as well
- Prior experience in a Front office IT support role or development role
- Familiarity with front to back flows and the different functions at a bank
- Experience with SDLC at a bank
- Experience with ION / eTrading is a plus
- Education: Masters in Quantitative Finance or similar fields
