Job Summary
Develop firmware for hardware devices, optimizing performance on the edge and designing sub-systems for high functionality on constrained hardware. Write code across the full embedded stack from bootloader to application firmware, including platform support for flash file systems and communication stacks. Work in a RTOS environment for porting and maintenance, while driving design discussions on system architecture and collaborating on code reviews. Support system test and manufacturing teams with debugging and performance data analysis from internal and external sites. Integrate hardware and software to develop end-to-end solutions within a multi-disciplinary team using modern engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing and architecting software, with exposure to the full lifecycle from prototype to production
- Experience developing C in bare-metal systems and/or RTOS
- Experience implementing power electronics firmware control functionality
- Ability to integrate hardware and software to develop end-to-end solutions
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team where individual initiative and contributions have a big impact
- Able to contribute in a multi-disciplinary team following modern software engineering practices (e.g. Git, continuous integration)
