Job Summary
Conduct fire safety design and product development for timber buildings in classes 4 and 5, implementing state-of-the-art solutions and managing series and change control. Coordinate physical tests at the GROPYUS prototyping center and external institutes while collaborating with architecture, engineering, and building physics disciplines. Contribute to certification strategies and public discourse on German fire safety regulations. Maintain constant communication with external consultants and authorities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry
- Project experience in LP5+ project stage in Germany and/or Austria
- Proficiency in relevant German and/or Austrian regulations and codes
- Experience in developing fire safety strategies
- Fluent German skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in residential buildings of building class 4 and/or 5
- Experience in timber construction
- Experience in certification of products
- Experience in Rhino or Revit a plus, alternatively AutoCAD
- Fluent English skills
