Senior Fire Protection Engineer (Professional Engineer)

Job Summary
Lead fire protection and life safety design, code consulting, and performance-based design including egress and fire simulations for building and plant projects in Korea. Conduct technical reviews against local regulations and international standards, coordinate with stakeholders such as clients and contractors, and prepare documentation for permits and authority approvals. Submit technical reports and support permitting processes while ensuring compliance with Korean fire codes and performance-based design guidelines. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Seoul, South Korea, with opportunities to participate in overseas projects.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Fire Protection Professional Engineer (Korea Fire Protection P.E. license required)
- Experience leading and overseeing fire protection and life safety design and consulting services for building and plant projects within Korea
- Ability to participate in overseas projects when required
- Responsibility for code consulting and performance-based design including egress and fire simulations
- Knowledge of fire protection system design and technical reviews in accordance with relevant local regulations and international standards
- Ability to take a leading role in technical coordination and meetings with key stakeholders such as clients, architects, engineering firms, and contractors
- Experience supporting permitting and various authority review processes
- Experience with Korean fire codes and performance-based design guidelines
- Experience with applicable international standards
