Job Summary
Senior Fire Protection Project Engineer leading complex fire protection design and coordination using REVIT across industrial, retail, and multi-family sectors; operates with full autonomy in engineering judgment from concept to commissioning, driving high-stakes projects while ensuring compliance with jurisdictional codes and firm standards. Serves as primary technical voice for clients, mentors Designers I-III, and manages projects from site surveys through construction administration with a focus on Big Box retail, Senior Living, and Power Centers. Remote-enabled role aligned with Florida operations, emphasizing technical excellence, quality assurance, and collaboration with PMs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States
- Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in fire protection engineering and design
- Advanced command of REVIT, Engineering Modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for remote environments
