Job Summary
Lead design, build, testing, and training for financial systems projects while managing monthly system maintenance, metadata updates, and end-user support for Consolidation and Performance Management software. Partner with Finance, Tax, and FP&A teams to optimize intercompany elimination processes, automate manual consolidations, and deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, maintain the master chart of accounts, and collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure a strong control environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of related business experience
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Understanding of account structures
- Understanding of reconciliations
- Understanding of financial close processes
- Understanding of related reporting requirements
- Ability to interpret / understand business requirements
- Ability to translate business requirements into a technical system solution / design
- Ability to prioritize value
- Project management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or other related field preferred
- Understanding of accounting and consolidations software
- Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite
- Understanding of Corporate Performance Management software
- CMA or CPA designation a plus
