Senior Financial Systems Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary
Senior Financial Systems Analyst drives data extraction, transformation, and integration for enterprise planning, forecasting, and reporting. Leads robust financial data pipelines and automated reporting while partnering with IT, data engineering, and analytics teams to govern data and continuously improve finance data infrastructure. Designs and maintains complex financial reports and dashboards, performs deep-dive analyses, and advocates for automation using Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate, Python, and related tools. Supports finance transformation initiatives, including reporting modernization and AI/ML techniques to elevate FP&A insights. Strong data quality, documentation, and governance practices to raise analytics maturity across the department.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field
- 4+ years of finance experience in a medium- to large-scale organization
- Strong capability in developing automated financial reports, dashboards, and forecasting models
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python; building data pipelines
- Experience with Power BI Service, Databricks, Workday Financials/Adaptive Planning is an asset
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in finance/function
- Strong analytical and data governance skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI (desktop and service), and Power Platform tools
- Experience with SQL, Python, and building data pipelines
- Experience developing machine learning models for financial planning or forecasting and using AI tools
- Experience with Databricks is an asset
- Experience administering Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning is an asset
