Job Summary
Prepare and review financial statements, bookkeeping entries, and client-specific monthly/quarterly reports under Dutch GAAP and IFRS principles. Coordinate CIT and VAT returns, prepare audit files for statutory audits, and generate CFI reports for the Dutch Central Bank. Safeguard transaction monitoring requirements and maintain contact with shareholders, banks, and external parties. Coach junior and medium-level accountants while working independently within a team of seven. Deliver accounting services and advice to real estate firms, ensuring the integrity of records and assisting with complex transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Expert level of Dutch GAAP
- Preparation of financial statements and consolidation
- Computerized accounting packages
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and legislation (Book 2, Title 9) as well as tax and compliance aspects
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, verbally and written
- Sound knowledge of ViewPoint and WorkSite
- Sound knowledge of compliance standards
- 5 - 7 years of experience (audit or accounting)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing / coaching a small (junior) finance team
- Completed Bachelor or Master specialization in Finance (e.g. Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or Fiscal economics)
