Job Summary
Senior Accountant in Private Equity at Vistra Netherlands responsible for delivering accounting services and advice to Private Equity firms. Lead/refer on financial statements, bookkeeping reviews (including accruals, cash flow, investment property movements, and reconciliations under Dutch GAAP and US GAAP), review distributions and capital contributions, VAT/CIT coordination, audit file preparation, and client reporting. Collaborate with Global Service Center to ensure end-to-end delivery, coach junior staff, maintain stakeholder relationships (shareholders, banks, accountants), and drive end-to-end accounting processes for the client portfolio. Requires 5-7 years of accounting experience and a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance; role involves management/coaching of a small finance team and potential partial remote work.
Required Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years of experience (audit or accounting)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing / coaching a small (junior) finance team
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (e.g.. Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration)
Desired Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years of accounting experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing / coaching a small finance team
- Experience reviewing financial statements and VAT/CIT calculations
- Experience with Dutch GAAP and US GAAP
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
