Job Summary
As a Senior Financial Risk Officer, you will execute the Financial Risk strategy set by the Financial Risk Management Team, contribute to analyses and advice regarding financial risk management processes and controls, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies. Responsibilities include guiding Financial Risk on best practices, supporting in remediation of gaps, and participating in firm-wide change initiatives. Candidates should have a strong background in (non-)financial risk management with at least 10 years of relevant banking experience and excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking industry specifically in a (non-)financial risk, audit or data area
- Excellent analytical skills on processes and controls including data requirements
- The ability to challenge the status quo
- Great team player skills with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication skills
- Open mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Broad experience in data and compliance of regulations
- Knowledge on ERM framework and NFR topics, KCT, Sox testing process
