Job Summary
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will coordinate and manage financial data and documentation for state regulatory examinations and filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations in the mortgage servicing industry. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or analysis. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, project management abilities, and proficiency in MS Office. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or relevant certifications, along with experience in FP&A software.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or analysis, preferably in mortgage servicing or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of state regulatory requirements and financial compliance
- Experience with MBFRF, NMLS, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills coupled with sound judgement
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and propose solutions
- Strong project management skills
