Job Summary
Senior Financial Reporting Analyst responsibilities include analyzing statutory ledgers, monitoring reconciliations, and investigating variances across billing, collections, and financial reporting data; preparing and reviewing account analyses, journal entries, and month-end closing tasks; validating financial data across accounting systems and maintaining procedures; reviewing statutory reports and presenting findings; collaborating with finance management on year-end reporting, new report development, and special projects; safeguarding highly sensitive information. Skills emphasized include mastery of cash and accrual accounting in a multi-jurisdictional environment, advanced Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and experience with Elite 3E or SAP Business Objects; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, business, or a related field
- minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in accounting practices and procedures with increasing responsibility
- Demonstrated knowledge of cash and accrual accounting principles in a multi-jurisdictional environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Elite 3E, SAP BO, or similar platforms (preferred)
- Public accounting or professional services experience (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of international accounting and financial reporting, including foreign exchange exposure
