Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related disclosures for internal management and external investors. Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly financial reporting schedules, support entity consolidation including eliminations and intercompany transactions, and reconcile general ledger transactions with the reporting system. Develop financial analytics and dashboards for executive heads, research material variances in month-over-month activity, and prepare footnote support schedules for the annual external audit. This role requires a Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting with 5+ years of experience, including public accounting, and proficiency in U.S. GAAP and NetSuite. The position is hybrid and offers competitive compensation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Information Systems
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting or financial reporting role
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines, both independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to deliver highly accurate work products
- Strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to convey complex information

Desired Qualifications
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite; familiarity with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting software is a plus
- Experience in MGA/MGU insurance operations
- Certified Public Accountant or CPA candidate
- Experience in Microsoft office suite with intermediate or advanced Excel skills
- Experience in NetSuite, Concur, Lease Query, Workiva
- Experience in Power BI dashboards and reports
- Experience in interfacing applications with accounting software
- Big 4 or national/regional firm experience a plus
