Job Summary
Handle inbound calls and emails from LPL financial advisors and staff, providing clear guidance and resources on financial planning concepts and strategies. Research complex planning questions using reference materials and team support, then follow up with advisors to share findings. Connect advisors with the right partners, including LPL or external resources, and refer them to relevant planning support such as Practice Management Coaching, Case Consulting, and Paraplanning. This role supports the Financial Planning Group's mission to help advisors deliver exceptional value to clients across all planning areas.
Required Qualifications
- CFP® designation
- 5+ years of experience in financial services industry, ideally related to financial planning
- Grasp of financial planning concepts, with the humility to recognize knowledge gaps and the curiosity to seek answers
- Communication skills
- Ability to ask good questions and listen to understand
- Ability to communicate complex planning concepts clearly and concisely both orally and written
- Collaborative, positive, and committed to delivering exceptional service to advisors
- Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SmartSheet
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with popular financial planning software such as eMoney/WealthVision, MoneyGuide, and/or RightCapital
- Additional credentials in areas like tax or estate planning
