Senior Financial Planning and Analytics Analyst

Job Summary
Senior FP&A Analyst will join the Operations and Finance team in Dallas and support financial planning, forecasting, incentive compensation analysis, and performance reporting across Hillwood’s real estate investment platform. Responsibilities include analyzing project and portfolio performance, developing financial models and scenario analyses, coordinating annual budgeting and cash flow forecasting, preparing executive-level reporting, and partnering with HR to analyze compensation data and incentive plans. The role emphasizes building and maintaining insights to inform capital allocation, operating decisions, and leadership discussions, with collaboration across Accounting, Capital Markets, HR, Legal, and Regional Teams to enhance reporting and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, or related field required
- 3–5 years of FP&A, real estate finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or related analytical finance role
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to synthesize financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
- Strong Excel skills; experience with reporting, visualization, or planning tools preferred
- Experience with reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, QuickBase, OneStream) beneficial
- Real estate investment, development, asset management, REIT, or private equity real estate experience strongly preferred
- Effective cross-functional communicator who can partner with Finance, Operations, Accounting, Capital Markets, HR, and Regional Teams
