Job Summary

Lead a team of five financial analysts to support EACs, financial reporting, CDRLs, and key pursuits within the Air Dominance Portfolio. Conduct trend analysis on program performance, analyze cost and schedule variances, and drive corrective actions to improve EAC predictability. Establish annual and long-range financial targets while collaborating cross-functionally with PMO, OPS, SCM, ENG, and QMA to set expectations for forecast deliverables. Serve as the financial point of contact for Program Management, providing guidance to IPT leads and non-finance organizations. Meet critical deadlines to develop reports encouraging process improvements and solutions. This role focuses on PUMA and Block Change efforts for RTX's Air Dominance Finance Organization.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years prior relevant experience
  • Advanced Degree in a related field
  • 7 years experience
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (ex. Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Hybrid role (regularly both onsite and offsite)
  • Commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility
  • Attend select steps of the interview process in-person

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of program control responsibilities which include meeting internal requirements such as coordinating budgetary agreements, preparing EACs and monthly forecasts
  • Clear, succinct written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and inquisitive with strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Work experience in a production-oriented business
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking on several different program issues concurrently
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
  • Experience with financial planning and key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings & Cash)
