Job Summary
Maintain documented records supporting financial forecasts for rate and budget areas while responding to questions to ensure management understanding. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations, and interface with government auditors to provide support on financial data and methodology. Perform analytics and evaluative work requiring knowledge of economic, accounting, and legal principles, and execute data consolidation using Microsoft Excel pivot tables and linked spreadsheets. Support Business Financial Managers in POM tracking and execution data reporting for all GFE/CFE systems and ship platforms. Requires fifteen years of financial management experience in DOD acquisition and a Secret-level security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- Fifteen (15) years professional experience in Financial management in DOD acquisition
- Five (5) years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Program Budget Information System (PBIS)
- Must have knowledge of pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions related to basic economic, accounting and legal principles
- Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel by use of pivot tables, linked spreadsheets/workbooks, equations, and other methods of data sorting, updating and consolidation
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
