Job Summary

Senior Financial Investigator for an FBI-financed contract role. The contractor will support financial investigations by applying specialized tools and techniques to analyze financial information, develop forfeiture strategies, review bank records (statements, deposits, debits, checks, letters of credit, CTRs, loan applications), identify hidden assets and false statements, determine amounts for forfeiture, repatriate forfeitable assets, and document findings in detailed case records. Responsibilities include reviewing data from multiple investigative databases, preparing seizure warrants and civil forfeiture counts, preparing exhibits, providing courtroom testimony, and coordinating with government data scientists and software developers to extract insights from proprietary data to support investigative outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • develop probable cause for seizure warrants and restraining orders
  • mitigate excessive risks in seizing targeted property
  • catalog case exhibits
  • identify witnesses and subjects for interviews and court proceedings
  • perform link analyses related to forfeiture
