Job Summary
Senior Financial Data Analyst responsible for owning and evangelizing the forecast process, leading migration of legacy Excel models to scalable cloud architectures (Snowflake/Sigma Computing), building automated financial reporting and self-service dashboards, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership. Partners with stakeholders across marketing, product, and operations; develops and maintains KPIs and dashboards; automates data workflows with scripting (Python/SQL). Hybrid role with strong emphasis on forecasting, scenario analysis, and cross-functional storytelling to inform strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, business analytics, or FP&A, preferably within a subscription, eCommerce, or SaaS environment.
- Advanced SQL proficiency; experience designing and maintaining data models and pipelines in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake highly preferred).
- Experience building in modern cloud BI platforms (Sigma Computing strongly preferred, Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
- Advanced Excel skills with a track record of migrating complex financial models into centralized data platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and product analytics platforms (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong understanding of advanced forecasting concepts (scenario planning, LTV/CAC modeling, cohort analysis, ROI, sensitivity analysis).
- Proficiency in statistical methods (regression analysis; experimentation frameworks a plus).
- Demonstrated success translating data into executive-level insights and actionable recommendations.
- Agility and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Automation & Scripting: Python (or R) for data manipulation and automation.
