Senior Financial Crime Due Diligence Manager

Job Summary
Lead and develop the Group Financial Crime Due Diligence team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements across third-party relationships. Own and enhance FCDD procedures, standards, and quality assurance processes while providing oversight of onboarding, reviews, and monitoring activities. Partner with senior stakeholders to achieve service delivery expectations and SLAs, producing management information and risk updates for business leaders and governance committees. Support the Head of Financial Crime and collaborate on the Group Financial Crime Framework design and implementation. Coach and develop Due Diligence Analysts through leadership, training, and performance management. Provide expert guidance on financial crime risks, emerging regulations, and due diligence best practice.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience leading due diligence or financial crime teams within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of financial crime regulations and the application of effective due diligence frameworks and controls
- Proven experience delivering business-wide compliance programmes and operating within a three lines of defence model
- Ability to influence, challenge and engage senior stakeholders across a complex organisation
- Excellent leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to balance business objectives with regulatory and risk management requirements
- Location: Ideally you'll be within commuting distance and able to travel to our Windsor office (until December 2026) and Reading office (from January 2027) when required
- We're also open to considering candidates based elsewhere across the UK
Desired Qualifications
- ICa, ACAMS or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- Knowledge of the energy sector would be advantageous
