Job Summary
Senior Financial Controller to Parent Bank Accounting & Reporting at SEB. You will have end-to-end accountability for significant accounting and reporting areas within SEB AB, with a focus on trading-related products, including monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and driving change initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across SEB. You will be part of a high-performing team accountable for accounting, financial and regulatory reporting processes, shaping the future of the finance organisation, and interacting with senior stakeholders. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or equivalent, several years of banking/regulated financial reporting experience, solid knowledge of trading products accounting, cross-functional and international experience, strong analytical skills, ownership mindset, and English fluency (Swedish advantageous). Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
- Several years of experience within accounting and financial reporting in a banking or regulated financial environment
- Solid experience of trading products and financial instruments accounting
- Proven ability to drive change and development initiatives, from requirements definition to implementation
- Experience working in cross functional and international settings
- Fluency in English (Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement)
