Job Summary
Conduct financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Develop and maintain complex financial models, management reports, and dashboards using Power BI and CPM tools like TM1 or Adaptive Insights. Analyze KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities while collaborating with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to automate reporting processes and improve the centralized data ecosystem. Manage multiple priorities independently and contribute to Corporate Development initiatives through business case development. Based in the Greater Vancouver Area with office requirements for FP&A team needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of progressive experience within a Corporate FP&A, Finance Business Partner, or similar financial analysis function
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and finance and accounting principles
- Ability to connect business strategy to underlying financial drivers
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience building, analyzing, and auditing complex financial models
- Experience using Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tools such as TM1/Cognos, Adaptive Insights, or Vena
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent analytics platforms
- Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, relational databases, and data warehousing
