Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Develop insightful business and financial information for the Bell partnership program by preparing reconciliations for commissions, receivables, and payables, and executing month-end journal entries. Resolve variances with carriers and operations while investigating unreconciled differences through stakeholder liaison. Collaborate with IT and Business Operations to support system implementation and process improvement, and develop reporting on KPIs, EBITDA, and profitability measures. Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset within the finance team and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. Requires a CPA designation and minimum three years of progressive accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or a related field
- CPA designation required
- Resourceful and strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with members of the finance team, IT and the business
- Strong attention to detail
- Independent while collaborative and a strong team player
- Takes ownership and initiative
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Results oriented and the ability to work under tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, changing environment
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with revenue assurance, or revenue and profitability analytics
- Experience in the telecom or software industries is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- ERP Oracle experience is an asset
