Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst will support timely preparation of internal/external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with strong IFRS knowledge; prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers; partner with management to provide insights and ensure accurate financial recording; assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes; build financial reporting models and templates; analyze data, drive process improvements, and deliver actionable metrics for regional operations in Canada (Vaughan/Woodbridge area). Requires robust Excel skills (complex formulas, macros) and experience with BI/ETL tools (Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy) and ERP systems (D365 MS Dynamics). CPA designation preferred; post-secondary education required; 3-5 years experience; strong communication and analytical abilities; ability to work independently and in a team; AI-assisted screening noted in posting.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s Degree in business, math, or equivalent preferred)
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
- CPA designation preferred
